Albino Rocca 2023 Rosso di Rocca Langhe Nebbiolo
Italian Red
This red blends Nebbiolo with a small amount of Cabernet Franc. Its profile is fragrant and soft, with flavour concentration and fresh character. Fruit comes from a vineyard at Magliano Alfieri, on the left bank of the Tanaro, and from parcels in eastern Barbaresco. The wine sees no wood and is finished at 13.5 percent alcohol.
Albino Rocca 2023 Nebbiolo d’Alba
Italian Red
Ruby colour tending toward garnet accompanies violet, humus, woodland spice, red fruit, dried flowers, liquorice and Earl Grey tea. Fine, supple tannins and a long finish are present. Nebbiolo comes from Terra di Mezzo in San Rocco Seno d'Elvio, where vines between fifteen and sixty years old grow in calcareous-clay soil. Maturation lasts roughly twelve months in large Austrian and German oak.
Albino Rocca 2022 Barbaresco Cottà DOCG
Italian Red
Garnet colour accompanies violet, red rose, peony, cherry liqueur, bitter cocoa, liquorice, rhubarb, incense and cigar-box notes. Balsamic and spicy details are also present. The palate is fresh and balanced, with savoury tones and velvety tannins. The aftertaste is persistent. The wine is made entirely from Nebbiolo grown at Cottà in Neive. Maturation lasts about twenty months in oak, with further time in bottle.
Albino Rocca 2018 Barbaresco Angelo
Italian Red
Iris, wild berries and sandalwood shape an aromatic, graceful nose. The palate is savoury and elegant, with sour cherry, orange zest, liquorice and coffee bean unfolding in measured layers. Fine-grained tannins hold the fruit firmly in place, while fresh acidity keeps the finish poised, detailed and built for patient cellaring.
