Veronese IGT
Veronese IGT
Riondo 2018 Corvina Veronese IGT
Deep ruby colour accompanies black cherry, ripe blackberry, vanilla and sweet spice. The wine is dry and full-bodied, with thirteen and a half percent alcohol. Made entirely from Corvina, it carries the Veronese IGT designation and comes from Veneto in Italy. Suggested pairings include red meat, game and mature cheese, served between eighteen and twenty degrees Celsius.
Tenuta Santa Maria di Gaetano Bertani 2011 Decima Aurea Merlot
Ripe red plum and wild berry meet pine needle, toasted hazelnut and a savoury, earthy maturity. The palate is medium-bodied and composed, with resolved tannins framing mossy fruit, olive, tobacco and a light mushroom note. Coffee, cocoa and liquorice add depth without overwhelming the fruit. It finishes dry and settled, carrying mature berry, earth and gentle spice through a measured close.
Tenuta Santa Maria di Gaetano Bertani 2018 Torre Pieve Chardonnay
White flowers and warm stone lead into pineapple, citrus and ripe orchard fruit. The palate is broad and creamy, with vanilla, hazelnut and a light buttery note held in check by balanced acidity and a savoury mineral edge. The texture is refined rather than heavy, allowing the fruit to remain clear. It finishes harmoniously, with citrus, nut and gentle oak lingering through a composed close.
