Rioja Reserva

Ripe blackberry, bramble, vanilla and clove accompany a medium-bodied Rioja with polished tannins, marked acidity and a long finish. Tempranillo, Grenache and Graciano come from clay-limestone terraces on the slopes of the Montes Obarenes and Sierra Cantabria. Indigenous-yeast fermentation takes place in oak vats. The wine matures for twenty-six months in French-oak barrels, then at least eighteen months in bottle.
