Dark plum and black cherry sit beneath savoury herbs, licorice and lavender. The palate is powerful and tightly structured, with concentrated fruit, firm tannins and cool mountain freshness giving the wine a restrained, serious shape. Decant well before serving with braised beef, lamb shoulder or aged hard cheese.
