Gevrey-Chambertin AOC

Dark cherry, mulberry and blackberry lead a fragrant, finely focused bouquet, with violet and white pepper adding lift. The palate is medium-bodied and elegant, carrying ripe fruit over fresh acidity and supple, polished tannins. A quiet earthy note develops through the middle without obscuring the fruit. Balanced and composed, it finishes with red and black berries, gentle spice and a persistent floral-mineral edge.

Ripe cherry and strawberry lead a generous, mature profile, with liquorice, beetroot and gentle vanilla adding depth. Savoury notes of meat, forest floor and cedar sit behind the fruit rather than dominating it. The palate is round and elegant, shaped by light tannins and a fine peppery edge. A touch of earthy root vegetable appears toward the close, followed by a composed, lightly astringent finish.
