El Dorado AVA

Deep orange-gold in colour, this skin-contact Roussanne shows floral, apricot and nutty notes. The palate is dry and light-bodied, with chewy tannins and mineral character. Fermentation takes place on the skins for twelve days in an open-top wooden vat. Maturation lasts ten months, with sixty percent in neutral French oak. The finish is long, with stone fruit and spice.
