Balsamic character is also present. Fruit came from the Coste di Vergne, Fossati, Pascolo and Ravera sites. Native-yeast fermentation lasted ten days, natural malolactic conversion followed, and tank ageing continued until April.

After manual harvest, the grapes are destemmed and crushed. Skin maceration lasts five to seven days, followed by full malolactic fermentation and maturation in stainless steel before bottling.

Bottling occurs one year after harvest.
