Medium-density purple-violet in colour, the wine opens with a sharp acetone-like note that dissipates to reveal a pleasantly full bouquet. The palate shows body and harmony, with round tannins and a long finish. The historic villa near Sieci, east of Florence, gives the wine its name. The property is linked to seven centuries of Frescobaldi family history.
