Cheverny
Peltier-Ravineau 2023 La Marnière Cheverny
French White
Fresh, dry and juicy, the wine carries transparent fruit with the crispness of Loire Sauvignon Blanc. Honeyed apple adds gentle volume, while white peach and nectarine appear with air. Sauvignon Blanc and Menu Pineau grow on sandy soils. The blend is lively and floral, with citrus detail and a fresh finish. Six months in fibreglass tank follow direct pressing and cold settling.
Clos du Tue-Boeuf 2018 La Caillère Cheverny
French Red
Predominantly Pinot Noir with a smaller share of Gamay, this red comes from a 1.3-hectare parcel of silex and clay in Cheverny. The vines averaged about thirty-five years of age when documented, and the wine spends around one year in neutral 400-litre barrels. The profile is fresh, clean and aromatic, with reductive and herbaceous character.
Clos du Tue-Boeuf 2019 Rouillon Cheverny Rouge
French Red
Vibrant and supple, with raspberry and wild strawberry opening into cherry stone and a touch of pepper. Tart red-berry freshness shapes the palate, while soft, integrated tannins keep the texture fluid and easy to drink. The finish stays bright and fruit-led. Serve lightly cool with roast poultry, charcuterie, mushrooms or simple grilled vegetables.
