Cerasuolo d'Abruzzo DOC

Strawberry and cherry accompany a deep ruby colour with violet reflections. The palate is fresh and gently tart, with a long finish. The wine is made entirely from Montepulciano d'Abruzzo grown at 150 to 350 metres in Contrada Piomba and Colle Sale, on sandy clay-loam soils. Harvest falls from late September into early October. Winemaking uses cold maceration; ageing takes place in steel with cold stabilization.
