Made from Cabernet Franc, this Bourgueil rosé is bright and crisp. Pale pink colour carries a faint golden hue and a berry-scented perfume with a very faint exotic quality. The palate is balanced and flavourful, showing floral-tinged berry fruit. A distinct citrus note appears on the finish. The wine comes from the Loire Valley in France.

Raspberry aromas meet a tender attack and a finish marked by grape-skin texture. Cabernet Franc comes from gravel soils and vines around thirty years old. The grapes are harvested by hand, gently destemmed and cold-macerated in stainless steel. Daily pumpovers are used, and maturation lasts ten months in concrete. The Cabernet Franc vineyard is certified biodynamic.

Smoky black fruit, spice and wild bramble accompany a broad, structured profile with smooth tannins. Cabernet Franc is hand-harvested, destemmed and fermented for three weeks with native yeast. Malolactic fermentation and ageing take place in used barrels. No sulfur is added during vinification. The vines are farmed organically and biodynamically, and the wine contains thirteen and a half percent alcohol.
