Violet and rose aromas lift dark plum and raspberry fruit in this savoury Okanagan Malbec. Herbal notes and a peppery finish add depth, with supple tannins balanced by fresh acidity. Aged for 21 months in French oak, it has a generous feel without losing its floral lift.

About Poplar Grove Winery
Founded in 1993, Poplar Grove was one of the first five wineries established on the Naramata Bench. Merlot and Cabernet Franc formed the first plantings, and the 1995 debut vintage amounted to just 150 cases. Tony and Barb Holler purchased the winery in 2007; today their four sons share responsibilities across the vineyards and business.
The family farms vineyards on the Naramata and Skaha benches and around Osoyoos, matching varieties to different sites. Its Middle Bench winery opened in 2011.
