Monster Vineyards 2020 Red Eyed Red Blend

Cedar, black peppercorn and cassis appear with cherry and blackberry. The wine is medium-bodied and has a long finish. Cabernet Franc leads the blend at fifty-five percent, joined by twenty-seven percent Cabernet Sauvignon, sixteen percent Merlot and two percent Malbec. Grapes are hand-picked and sorted in the vineyard; each variety ferments separately before the finished wines are blended.

About Monster Vineyards
Monster Vineyards is a Holler-family winery in the Okanagan whose first wines were released in 2006. Its name and playful labels refer to the legendary creature of Okanagan Lake.
Grapes come from sites around Osoyoos, Skaha and Penticton. The winery makes red and white wines, rosé and sparkling wine.
