Red and black fruit meet cherry, raspberry and plum, with subtle spice, oak, coffee bean and black pepper. The palate has balanced acidity and medium body, and the finish is smooth. Strawberry, a light effervescence and a berry-juice note are also present. This dry red blend comes from British Columbia’s Okanagan Valley. Alcohol is twelve percent.

About The Hatch
The plan for The Hatch began in 2013, and its West Kelowna wine shop opened in May 2015 under winemaker Jason Parkes. A weathered vineyard shed became its rustic tasting room, created to make wine feel less intimidating.
Parkes favours wines with acidity and character, without sticking to rigid categories. Original artwork and stories are developed for the wine labels as part of each release.
