Coffee bean, plum and black pepper accompany red plum, strawberry and mixed-berry notes. Juicy cherry and plum sit within a savoury, lively profile. The dry red combines Merlot and Pinot Noir from British Columbia’s Okanagan Valley and contains twelve percent alcohol. Suggested pairings include smoked meat, roast turkey sandwiches and mushroom crostini. Its name reflects rosso, the Italian word for red.

About The Hatch
The plan for The Hatch began in 2013, and its West Kelowna wine shop opened in May 2015 under winemaker Jason Parkes. A weathered vineyard shed became its rustic tasting room, created to make wine feel less intimidating.
Parkes favours wines with acidity and character, without sticking to rigid categories. Original artwork and stories are developed for the wine labels as part of each release.
