Cave de Lugny 2023 L’Aurore Bourgogne Pinot Noir

Pinot Noir comes mainly from vineyards in Saint-Gengoux-de-Scissé and Cruzille. The vines average thirty years old on shallow limestone soils and south to southeast-facing slopes. Mechanical harvest is followed by a short maceration, alcoholic fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel and wooden vats, and complete malolactic fermentation. Raspberry, blackcurrant and spice appear with red fruit, liquorice and a fresh, soft finish.

About Cave de Lugny
Founded in 1927, Cave de Lugny was a driving force behind the success of the Mâconnais region - and is now the premier producer of Mâconnais and Burgundy wines. For four decades they have produced sparkling wine under the Crémant de Bourgogne AOC. Today, Cave de Lugny is recognized as a crémant specialist with a separate facility located in the village of Chardonnay dedicated to the production of sparkling wines.
