Giramundo 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon

Blackberry, dark cherry and cassis accompany mint leaf, black pepper and cocoa nib. Concentrated black fruit appears with dark chocolate, vanilla and a herbaceous note. The finish is firm and lingering, with smooth tannins, mint and dark fruit. The grapes come from Eugenio Bustos in Mendoza’s Uco Valley, and the wine is made entirely from Cabernet Sauvignon.

About Giramundo
Winemaker and agronomist Felipe Stahlschmidt founded Giramundo in 2011 as a personal project shaped by travel and his adopted home of Mendoza. Born in Buenos Aires and educated at the National University of Cuyo, he built experience in vineyards and cellars in Argentina, Spain and the United States before taking senior winemaking roles in Argentina. The name evokes a world traveller; the wines come from Mendoza's Uco Valley beneath the Andes.
