White fruit, vegetal and spice notes accompany a velvety palate with integrated acidity and a clear, precise, fruity finish. The grapes come from sixty vineyards around Langenlois, all on loess. Thirty percent receives overnight skin contact with stems, while seventy percent is whole-cluster pressed for five hours. Fermentation is spontaneous with wild yeast, and maturation lasts five months on fine lees in stainless steel.

About Weingut Weszeli
Davis Weszeli left city life in 2011 to take over a vineyard at the edge of Langenlois, with cellar foundations dating to 1679. The estate farms roughly 30 hectares in the Kamptal, focusing on Grüner Veltliner and Riesling.
Biodynamic farming follows Demeter guidelines, using plant- and mineral-based preparations and encouraging biodiversity in the vineyards. The wines ferment spontaneously and spend extended time on the lees, with few additions in the cellar.
