Raspberry, flowers and white pepper shape this light Loire red. Pineau d’Aunis comes from organically tended, hand-harvested vines that are about a century old. The wine spends six months in old barrels and is bottled without added sulphur. Translucent ruby colour, cranberry and blood-orange acidity, green-olive character and a peppery rocket note are also present.
