Cranberry and sage appear in a bright red with soft, silky texture and a lightly funky note. Made entirely from Frankovka Modrá, the wine comes from the Lopata vineyard in Slovakia’s Small Carpathians. Fermentation on the skins lasts four weeks, followed by at least eighteen months in oak. Selected barrels are bottled without fining or filtration, and the wine contains thirteen percent alcohol.
