Violet, dark-red and purple hues introduce mature dark-red fruit. Blackberry, black cherry, plum jam and cassis appear with rock rose. Power and balance accompany finesse and a long, fruity finish. The fruit comes from a single south-facing vineyard in the Rio Torto valley, within Portugal’s Douro region. Around eight hundred cases were produced from this vintage.
