Vibrant red berry and cassis aromas accompany raisins and cloves. The palate is rich and full-bodied, with smooth, ripe tannins and a long finish. Ripe plum and spice meet concentrated sweetness in a clean, mouth-filling profile. The fortified wine comes from Portugal’s Douro region, carries 20 percent alcohol and uses Touriga Nacional within its blend.
