Ripe red cherry and tart raspberry lead an elegant, finely layered bouquet. Dried rose, star anise and camphor add lift, while truffle, underbrush and tobacco bring savoury depth. The palate is full yet precise, with compact red fruit carried by firm, refined tannins and fresh mint. Persistent and earthy, it closes with graphite, spice and a measured mineral grip.

About Ceretto
The Ceretto story begins in Alba in the 1930s, when Riccardo Ceretto made wine from purchased grapes rather than owning vineyards. In the 1960s, his sons Bruno and Marcello began mapping Langhe sites and acquiring parcels in celebrated Barolo and Barbaresco crus, shifting the family from merchant roots toward estate winegrowing. A third generation later extended that curiosity beyond wine into architecture, food and contemporary art, always with the Langhe as the centre.
In the cellar, Alessandro Ceretto's “work by subtraction” moved cru fermentations away from selected yeasts in 2008 and steadily reduced the use of new oak. The vineyards began organic conversion in 2010, and the estate records certification from the 2015 vintage. Bricco Rocche, built at Castiglione Falletto in 1982, remains the home of Ceretto's Barolo crus—including Brunate and Prapò—and a defining chapter in the estate's history, not a separate producer identity.
