White flowers and warm stone lead into pineapple, citrus and ripe orchard fruit. The palate is broad and creamy, with vanilla, hazelnut and a light buttery note held in check by balanced acidity and a savoury mineral edge. The texture is refined rather than heavy, allowing the fruit to remain clear. It finishes harmoniously, with citrus, nut and gentle oak lingering through a composed close.

About Tenuta Santa Maria di Gaetano Bertani
Brothers Giovanni and Guglielmo Bertani lead Tenuta Santa Maria di Gaetano Bertani, named for their father. Their vineyards span Valpolicella Classica, the Illasi Valley and the higher slopes of Valpantena. At Arbizzano di Negrar, an eighteenth-century villa stands beside stone cellars, grape-drying lofts and a walled vineyard. The cellar team ferments small lots separately and adjusts ageing to suit each wine.
