Leitz Eins-Zwei-Zero Sparkling Rosé
$24.99
Pale strawberry and raspberry lead, joined by rosehip and a subtle touch of grapefruit. Fine bubbles sharpen the fruit and give the palate an energetic, refreshing shape. Bright acidity and lean mineral detail keep the off-dry profile balanced rather than heavy. Lively and precise through the centre, it finishes with red berries, citrus lift and a clean, gently sparkling persistence.

About Leitz
Johannes Leitz took over his family’s Rüdesheim estate in 1985, following the years his mother had spent keeping the small operation going. Riesling is at its heart, with vineyards on the Rüdesheimer Berg including Berg Schlossberg, Berg Rottland, Berg Roseneck and Kaisersteinfels. In the cellar, Leitz moves the wines as little as possible.
The estate also makes the de-alcoholised EINS-ZWEI-ZERO and ZERO-POINT-FIVE wines, using vacuum distillation at about 29°C to remove alcohol. These include still and sparkling Riesling, rosé, Pinot Noir and Sauvignon Blanc.
