Rich walnut sits at the centre of this traditional Italian liqueur, framed by coffee, nutmeg, cinnamon and clove. The palate is dark, earthy and gently sweet, with a measured bitter undertone giving definition to the warm spice. A long, warming finish carries the walnut and coffee notes without becoming heavy. Serve in a small glass after dinner, pour over vanilla gelato, or use sparingly in an Old Fashioned or Manhattan for added nutty depth.
