Arbutus Distillery Amaro No. 4 375 mL

$34.99

Smooth and citrus-led, with orange zest opening into a firm bittersweet core of gentian and Oregon grape root. Salal berry brings a dark-fruit accent, while barrel ageing rounds the botanical intensity and adds depth without obscuring the fresh West Coast character. The finish is balanced, persistent and gently earthy. Serve chilled or over ice, lengthen with soda, or use in a spritz and other cocktails that benefit from structured bitterness.

About Arbutus Distillery
Arbutus Distillery opened in Nanaimo in 2014 after Mike Pizzitelli moved from cell biology and craft brewing to postgraduate study in brewing and distilling in Scotland. He was drawn to distilling by the breadth of ingredients and styles it offers. Arbutus makes its spirits on site, from fermentation through distillation and bottling, using British Columbia-grown fermentable ingredients. It also grows many of its own botanicals. Its range includes gin, vodka, whisky, absinthe, brandy and liqueurs.
