Soft florals introduce an unusual, expressive nose of creamy chocolate, grape, caramel and burnt sugar. The palate turns drier, bringing assertive oak, a light briny edge and a biscuit-like savoury note, with toffee and butterscotch emerging underneath. The finish is brisk and warming rather than lush. Approach it as a characterful mixer: try it in a rum highball, with ginger beer, or in a spirit-forward stirred drink.
