Giffard Ginger of the Indies Liqueur

Fresh ginger leads with an immediate peppery warmth, balanced by orange blossom and a light vanilla softness. Coriander adds an aromatic, gently savoury edge, while lime cordial keeps the palate bright and lively. Sweetness arrives first, then gives way to a clean surge of ginger spice that builds without becoming heavy. The finish is floral, citrus-edged and warming. Serve over ice, lengthen with soda, or use to add focused ginger heat and lift to a Daiquiri or highball.

About Giffard
Giffard began in 1885 when Angers pharmacist Émile Giffard developed a clear mint liqueur for guests at the neighbouring Grand Hôtel. He converted his pharmacy into a distillery and named the liqueur Menthe-Pastille after the mint sweets then in fashion.
Fruit and plants remain at the heart of its liqueurs and syrups, chosen for their aromas. Based in Avrillé since 1972, the house continues Anjou’s tradition of liqueur making.
