Ripe Japanese plum leads a rich but balanced profile, with bright citrus and vanilla bringing lift to the measured sweetness. The fruit is brewed with shochu, matured in white-oak casks and finished with Akashi whisky, giving the palate a rounded texture and a clear thread of oak. Plum remains at the centre while gentle whisky character adds depth rather than weight. The finish is lingering and softly woody, with citrus, vanilla and a final echo of malt.
