Sweet malt, citrus and vanilla lead the nose, with clean smoke kept in the background. The palate builds through maple syrup, fig and vanilla custard before coastal wood smoke brings a drier, savoury edge. A proprietary vatting matured in barrels smoked with shoreline driftwood and native woods gives this single malt its distinctive character without overwhelming the grain. The finish is creamy, lightly medicinal and persistent. Serve neat or with a little water.
