Glen Neamh Syrah Cask Canadian Single Malt Whisky

Ripe plum and cracked black pepper lead the nose, with dark fruit and gentle oak developing behind them. The palate is full and supple, pairing the malt’s cereal depth with the richer fruit and spice drawn from a freshly retired Syrah barrel. Five years of maturation provides structure before the wine-cask finish adds a deep amber tone and polished texture. The finish is long and silky, carrying vanilla, pepper and restrained smoke. Serve neat or add a few drops of water.

About Glen Neamh Whisky Co.
Jamie Crain founded Glen Neamh as an independent bottler of Canadian whisky. Working with wine casks from British Columbia's South Okanagan, the company selects mature whisky and gives it further time in freshly retired wine barrels.
Its releases have included finishes in Syrah, Pinotage, Pinot Noir, Cabernet Franc and port-seasoned casks. The whiskies are bottled unfiltered, without added colour or flavouring.
