The palate is light but assured, with apple crumble, sweet malt and soft oak carried by a clean, slightly peppery texture. Fruit remains at the centre as the whisky develops, while the nutty character adds quiet depth without making the spirit heavy. The finish is long, lightly warming and neatly balanced between vanilla sweetness, orchard fruit and oak. Serve neat or with a little water.
