Juicy and finely savoury, with red currant, raspberry and dark cherry over crushed stone, violet and white pepper. The palate is light on its feet, combining bright acidity with a silky texture and fine-grained tannins. A fresh, mineral finish gives the ripe berry fruit definition. Serve lightly cool with charcuterie, roast chicken or mushroom dishes.

About Clos du Tue-Boeuf
Clos du Tue-Boeuf is named for a Les Montils vineyard documented since the Middle Ages, while the Puzelat family's village roots reach to the fifteenth century. Jean-Marie Puzelat returned to the family vineyard in 1990, followed by his brother Thierry in 1994. Thierry now works with his daughters Zoé and Louise following Jean-Marie’s retirement.
The estate began converting to organic farming in 1996 and harvests its grapes by hand. Fermentation relies on native yeasts, with small amounts of sulphur added at bottling only when needed. Alongside Sauvignon Blanc, Gamay and Pinot Noir, the family grows local grapes such as Menu Pineau.
