About Damilano
Damilano's family history in Barolo begins in 1890, when Giuseppe Borgogno started growing grapes and making wine. The winery took its present name under his son-in-law Giacomo Damilano. Guido, Mario and Paolo Damilano have led the estate since 1997.
The family manages roughly ten hectares on Cannubi, where Nebbiolo grows in soils of sand, silt and clay. Alongside Barolo, the winery's range includes Arneis and Moscato d'Asti.
