Dark fruit leads, followed by herbal and savoury tones that now carry much of the wine’s character. The palate remains fresh and structured, with lively acidity, firm tannins and enough fruit to keep the profile balanced. Complex and mature, it benefits from a brief decant rather than hours of air. Serve with roast beef, lamb, lentils or grilled mushrooms.

About Poplar Grove Winery
Founded in 1993, Poplar Grove was one of the first five wineries established on the Naramata Bench. Merlot and Cabernet Franc formed the first plantings, and the 1995 debut vintage amounted to just 150 cases. Tony and Barb Holler purchased the winery in 2007; today their four sons share responsibilities across the vineyards and business.
The family farms vineyards on the Naramata and Skaha benches and around Osoyoos, matching varieties to different sites. Its Middle Bench winery opened in 2011.
