Crushed stone and graphite meet fresh mint, dry spice and a woodland savouriness. The palate is nuanced and firmly structured, with dark fruit held in a precise frame of acidity and fine tannins. Mineral and herbal notes return on the persistent finish. Decant generously and pair with roast lamb, braised beef, grilled mushrooms or aged cheese.

About Clos du Soleil
Clos du Soleil is a small artisan estate on the Upper Bench of British Columbia’s South Similkameen Valley. Founded in 2006, it takes inspiration from Bordeaux in a landscape of rocky soils, long sunlight and surrounding mountains.
Its four estate vineyards are certified organic and farmed biodynamically. Winemaker and co-owner Michael Clark trained at UC Davis and worked in wineries in Switzerland and Bordeaux.
