The palate is lush and silky, with notable sweetness and concentration, yet lively acidity keeps the generous texture balanced. A mineral undertone adds precision to the long, gently warming finish. Serve in a small pour with blue cheese, fruit tart or almond cake.

About Domaine de la Bongran
Domaine de la Bongran’s history in Quintaine runs through the Gillet family, with the Thévenet name entering the story in 1904. Jean Thévenet took charge in 1972 and handed the estate to his son Gautier in 2000. The estate grows Chardonnay on white marl and limestone soils.
The vines are farmed organically, with ploughed soils and hand harvesting when the grapes are fully ripe. Slow pressing and long fermentations follow in the cellar.
