Deep amber with orange reflections, this mature fortified wine layers dried fruit, walnut and dried apricot over complex notes of rancio, turmeric, roasted coffee and seasoned oak. The palate is broad, harmonious and richly textured, yet a fine thread of freshness keeps it poised. Exceptionally long, it finishes with old-cognac warmth and savoury nutty depth.

About Arnaud de Villeneuve
Arnaud de Villeneuve is a Roussillon cooperative whose roots go back to a shared cellar opened by growers in Salses-le-Château in 1909. Its vineyards spread across the northern Roussillon plain between the Corbières, the Pyrenees and the Mediterranean. Plains and terraces bring together red soils, black marl, pebbles and schist.
The house makes dry wines alongside the region’s fortified specialities, where Grenache, Muscat and Macabeu play central roles. Rivesaltes Ambré undergoes oxidative maturation, while the vintage Rivesaltes collection spends extended time in oak before final blending.
