Blue Grouse 2023 Pinot Noir Cowichan Valley
$49.99
Red cherry and raspberry meet forest floor, cool florals and a restrained touch of spice. Amphora brings textural depth, while seasoned oak adds structure without dominating the fruit. Medium-bodied and composed, the palate has fine tannins and maritime freshness. The finish remains savoury and precise. Serve with duck, salmon or mushrooms.

About Blue Grouse Estate Winery
Blue Grouse began on a Cowichan Valley property where more than 100 grape varieties were trialled between 1986 and 1988. Hans and Evangeline Kiltz acquired the test vineyard in 1988–89, harvested the first grapes in 1989 and secured the winery licence in 1992. A new winery and tasting room opened in 2015 after the Brunner family's 2012 purchase.
Members of the Jackson family acquired the winery and vineyards in 2022, intending to build on its Pinot Noir and Chardonnay production in Cowichan's cool maritime climate.
