Leather, pipe tobacco and vanilla pod lead into rose petal, violets and wild sagebrush. The palate feels lively and multidimensional, with whole-cluster character bringing savoury definition and toasted spice. Soft, velvety tannins keep the structure supple, carrying floral detail, woodland herbs and warm spice through a poised, quietly persistent finish.

About Birch Block Vineyard
Murray and Sarah Bancroft planted Birch Block Vineyard in Kaleden in 2016 as a small family-run Pinot Noir project. Dijon Pinot Noir clones grow in sandy-loam soils, with the South Okanagan site’s warm days giving way to cool nights.
The Bancrofts farm without herbicides or synthetic fertilizers and take a low-intervention approach in the cellar. Their first wine, the Endless Summer rosé, was released in spring 2019.
