About Deep Roots Winery
Deep Roots Winery grows from four generations and roughly a century of Hardman family farming on the Naramata Bench. The land first supported orchards before the family shifted its attention to wine grapes, carrying practical knowledge of the site into a new crop. Deep Roots' first vintage was 2012, and the family-run estate winery opened its tasting room two years later.
Fruit comes from the family’s Hardman and Rayner vineyards on the Naramata Bench. Vineyard work remains hands-on, while winemaker Will Hardman brings experience gained in New Zealand and South Africa back to his home ground.
