Dhondt-Grellet NV Roc Solare Assemblage Extra Brut Champagne
$192.99
Fresh lemon, golden apple and pear lead into white flowers, honeysuckle and a subtle flinty, smoky note. The palate is generous yet linear, with creamy texture, ripe stone fruit and hazelnut held in check by chalky tension and saline precision. The very dry finish is long and focused, making this a fine match for oysters, scallops, tempura or aged Comté.

About Dhondt-Grellet
Champagne Dhondt-Grellet began estate bottling in 1986 in Flavigny, when Éric Dhondt and Édith Grellet brought their families' vineyard histories into one domaine. Adrien Dhondt took over winemaking in 2012 and now works alongside his sister Alice.
Chardonnay from Cramant, Cuis and Chouilly forms the core, complemented by family parcels farther south in the Coteaux du Sézannais. The family farms according to organic and biodynamic principles, without certification. Barrel fermentation with indigenous yeasts has become increasingly important in the cellar.
