Deeply coloured, concentrated and layered, with black cherry, cassis, blackberry and currant lifted by dried violet, rose, anise, graphite, cedar and roasted herb. The palate is classically structured, combining vibrant fruit with fresh acidity, polished tannins and a mineral edge. Rich yet balanced, it finishes persistent and mouth-coating; allow generous air and serve with grilled beef or lamb.

About Joseph Phelps Vineyards
Joseph Phelps Vineyards began in 1973, after Joe Phelps acquired a former cattle ranch near Saint Helena in Napa Valley. Its flagship Insignia began with the 1974 vintage, conceived as a blend of the strongest lots from each harvest. Over subsequent decades, the estate added vineyards across several Napa appellations and on the western Sonoma Coast. Alongside its Cabernet-led Napa wines, the winery makes cool-climate Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.
