Osoyoos Larose 2020 Le Grand Vin

Opaque garnet, opening slowly on dark fruit. The palate is fuller-bodied, round and smooth, with medium acidity giving shape to the sweet black-fruit core. Vanilla adds warmth without obscuring the fruit, while firm tannins gather through the finish. Decant for an hour and serve with osso buco, roast lamb, savoury mushrooms or other slow-braised dishes.

About Osoyoos Larose
Osoyoos Larose was founded in 1998 as a Franco-Canadian partnership bringing Bordeaux experience to the southern Okanagan Valley. The estate is owned by Groupe Taillan, the Bordeaux wine group. Its 32-hectare vineyard above Osoyoos Lake is planted to Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot and Malbec.
Its organic certification dates to the 2022 harvest, building on cover crops and close observation of individual parcels. Le Grand Vin is the estate’s flagship, with Pétales d’Osoyoos as its second wine.
