About Domaine Jean Bourdy
Domaine Jean Bourdy is rooted in Arlay in the Jura, where the family dates its winegrowing history to 1579 and sixteen generations. Laura Bourdy returned in 2018 and acquired the domaine in 2022; she is the first woman to lead the family estate.
Jean-François and Jean-Philippe Bourdy began converting the estate’s ten hectares to biodynamics in 2006, with Demeter certification following in 2010. The range spans Chardonnay and Savagnin whites, reds from Poulsard, Trousseau and Pinot Noir, and Jura specialities including Crémant, Vin Jaune, Vin de Paille and Macvin. The cellar also holds an extensive collection of older vintages.
