Arran Sauternes Wine Cask Finish Single Malt Scotch Whisky

Ripe apricot and honeyed melon open with honeysuckle, marzipan and soft vanilla. The palate is generous but lively, balancing honey and sultana with citrus zest, measured spice and a light saline note. Toasted oak gives the fruit a firm frame. The finish is long and warming, leaving vanilla, dried fruit, citrus oil and gentle spice.

About Arran Distillery
Harold Currie founded Isle of Arran Distillers to bring legal whisky production back to the island. Construction at Lochranza began in 1994, and the first spirit ran from the stills on 29 June 1995.
The northern distillery draws its water from Loch na Davie and is the home of the unpeated Arran Single Malt. It uses traditional copper pot stills. Its sister distillery, Lagg, opened in the south of the island in 2019 to make heavily peated single malt.
