Tengumai Junmai Daiginjo 50 720 mL

$59.99

A gentle, natural aroma sets a quiet tone, leading into a light-bodied palate with measured acidity and a smooth texture. Restrained aging keeps the profile light and direct, giving the middle an easy flow without heaviness. The aroma stays subtle rather than assertive. The finish remains smooth, with gentle acidity and light body carrying the restrained character through the final impression.

About Shata Shuzo
Shata Shuzo, the brewery behind Tengumai, was founded in 1823 in Hakusan, Ishikawa. It uses water from Mount Haku and rice from the surrounding Kaga plain. In the 1960s, seventh-generation Toshiro Shata and master brewer Saburo Naka revived the traditional Yamahai yeast-starter method at the brewery. The team prepares koji and yeast starters by hand, and many of its sake are given time to mature.
