Angostura 5 Year Old Rum

Spice and brûléed sugar open the aroma, recalling the spirit’s molasses origins. Buttery vanilla moves into chocolate on the palate, while time in bourbon oak brings a creamy, toasty dimension. The finish lingers with spice, toast and soft richness. A minimum of five years in barrel gives the blend its layered character, with oak remaining clearly present.

About Angostura
Angostura's story begins with Dr Johann Siegert's aromatic bitters in 1824 and the family's later move to Trinidad. Its aged rums begin with molasses fermented using proprietary yeast cultures, followed by continuous distillation, charred-oak maturation and blending.
