The blend combines Sangiovese, Grenache, Malbec, Sciacarello and Carignan from three Watervale vineyards. Components underwent indigenous-yeast fermentation before time in ceramic egg and neutral oak. The wine was bottled without fining or filtration.

The fruit is hand-harvested and sorted, then crushed and destemmed before six hours on skins in the press. Natural fermentation uses ten percent ceramic amphora and ninety percent steel. The wine remains on fine lees in stainless steel for nine months and is bottled without fining or filtration.
